I'm still interested in finding other children from gay and lesbian families, and finding our place and our voices!

1. I know parents of grown children. I assume that counts?

2. Yep.

I am actually more interested in adult children. I don't know how true it is, but I have the impression that it's easier to find young CoLaGs than it is to find older ones.

There are a lot of us, but as a force, we're nonexistent.

3. Thing is, I didn't meet them until they were adults, and I believe their

Mom didn't leave their dad and make a new relationship with her current partner until they were grown or nearly so.

4. Makes me wonder

whether those adult children identify as part of the LGBT community in any way, or if they are even influenced in their thinking by their mom's partnership.

That's a hard one.

I would say there's a positive influence now. (At the time of the change, who knows, though. But I imagine it might have bee like any other divorce, really.)
