Ensign Accused of Violating Campaign Finance Laws

In an interview with ABC News, Doug Hampton, the former co-chief of staff to Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) talked about the affair between his former boss and his wife, Cindy Hampton, also a former Ensign employee.

The bombshell: "Hampton told McFadden that the money Ensign's parents paid him in the aftermath of the affair was severance -- not a gift -- as Ensign had claimed, which could constitute a violation of campaign finance laws."

2. So I guess Ensign's definition of "family man" includes having an affair
with another woman when both parties involved are married to others. (Sounds like adultery to me, and that's a SIN according to the Bible.)

Then Ensign broke the law by giving out hush money to keep everything quiet. (The severence or "gift.")

And finally Ensign twisted arms against Senate rules to find a job for someone related to this mess.

Love those hypocritical family values. What's good for me isn't acceptable for you... :eyes:

4. Someone just hung a dead one around Ensign's neck.
It's getting smellier by the day.
