OMFG I am so mad at these asshat cops. Can't take control of a 12 YO girl-without using major force-tackling her & shooting her when she is in control & on the ground!
This is the same cop who killed a guy by crushing his ribcage.
I hope the whole dept. gets friggin cleaned out & replaced with humans.Too many old school racist mf'ers. Trigger happy & always shielded by thier fellow officers. The lot of 'em needs to go NOW!!

5. It seems like police these days are trained to use all but deadly force no matter the situation

whether someone skipped playing a fare or someone was eating french fries on the subway.

because even if i grant that the 12 year old child was wrong, could somebody tell me what they were doing that was such a threat that 3 big cops had to 1) shoot her with that thing and 2) throw her on the ground with their legs in her back?

i reiterate my thinking that the cops are now being trained to be rough with her like that, regardless of her age, yes, if she was 12 and regardless of what she did.

in this case and in many others, i think the police made the situation worse.

and i thought you dont' use weapons for compliance and i also thought that if 3 big cops are there against a 12 year old girl, you don't need two officers tackling her while the other one shoots at her. if i were *any* of those cops, i go home and cry myself to sleep out of shame.

even for egregious behavior. The city (taxpayers) pay of course in civil cases- but grand juries let it slide every time.
