Wohoo! My cable just added MSNBC in HD
along with 26 other new channels including BBC America.
And 30 more coming next month. (Bright House-Orlando).

1. Congrats. Comcast is still siding with the knuckle-draggers.
MSNBC in HD isn't even on their radar.

sigh...

3. When Comcast dropped MSNBC, we dropped Comcast.
And it felt good! We got DirecTV instead.

2. MSNBC ain't all that, except for a few hours in the evening.
Otherwise, the trash found there rivals CNN easily.

10. Is that why I've seen SPalin more in the last two days on the channel,
than anywhere else.

Why is that?

4. Excellent! It sounds like you've got a decent cable outfit
I went with Direct TV because around here it's Comcast and they suck.

In fact, that was the first thing I dumped out of my dad's portfolio when I inherited. I have never been impressed with the way that company has been run.

Direct TV is Murdoch, but he seems to be keeping his mitts off the channel lineup.

You'll love BBCA. Now if you can talk them into putting LinkTV on the lineup, you'll be all set.

9. Bright-House blows - I can tell you first hand...
No cable company is complete until they add the NFL Network.
Bright-House (aka Time Warner) refuses to do so, so consequently no NFL game tonight.

But that ain't my beef.

Bright-House is more than a cable company, they are also a "telephone" company.
They supply big pipes, into big businesses, that link into MAJOR carriers like who I work for.
The use those big pipes to gain access into our network where the pump TONS of traffic making us happy.
Unless Bright-House installs some piece of shit into their network that fails and brings that big pipe down...
Ruining my fucking day.
Frequently.

But I really hate them for their constant, insipid advertising.
And they never let me know I had MSNBC HD.

I'm glad I read this thread!

Bright-House is like any other cable company and they better not ruin my Friday.

:)

12. Wow!
I have Comcast in Mass. Not sure if/when we'll get MSNBC in HD; however, my SciFi channel was recently updated to include SpongeBob SquarePants. I suppose that's something.

13. We've always had MSNBC on Comcast here,
but only with the most expensive package. Very unfair, as we get Fox with any package. I guess they figure only rich people are liberals.
