Found Nixon Joking Before Resignation Vid
while browsing around i came across this:

http://www.sikclips.com/vid304_Nixon_Resignation_Outtakes

This is bizarre, as i've never seen this clip before, but it shows how these guys never really seem have the emotions that they want the people to think they have. I'm reminded of "We'll hunt the terrorists wherever they are! Now watch this drive!"

Unbelievable.

1. He was probably just trying to lighten the mood.
I remember the day he resigned. I was about 12 and it was early morning I was in the living room by myself watching it on TV. My dad was in the kitchen making breakfast. He looked into the living room and apparently was puzzled but the look on my face as I watched the TV. He said sandrakae whats go your attention so. I replied. "I think the president just quit his job". Next thing I heard was a frying pan hitting the floor and him in the living room in a flash. That was the strangest thing I ever watched on TV. He seemed really choked up and his daughters were there crying. It was rather depressing.

3. I'll accept that
and just add, i think my ability to see things as innocent has been damaged.

I remember saying to someone just recently that it is now hard for me to believe anything that comes from the Executive branch AT ALL.

But i guess things weren't always this way.

4. I agree. He's embarrassed and joking is a way to deflect what he's feeling and others might ask
I'd do the same thing.

He reminds me of Herman Munster when he shakes around and laughs!

Sad that these people are self-absorbed dicks who want to brutalize liberty, American, and the world.

7. I don't think it's unusual
or bizarre to try and find something to lighten things when you have a horrible taste ahead of you.
