The higher she rises in the Republican Party, and the more influence she wields over the Republican Party decisions, the smaller their base will become. Her drive to 'purify' the Republican Party by ousting liberals and moderates who could actually win elections in favor of 'true conservatives' who cannot win, will result in losses not only on the national level but down to the local level.

The people who should really FEAR Sarah Palin are those who conduct opposition research on her.

There is so much ammunition freely given in her book, her interviews, and elsewhere, that there won't be a need for much additional opposition research on her. We already have more than enough to prove that she lies, is disloyal, lacks intellectual curiosity, etc.

And none of this will be lost upon moderates and liberals of every stripe that are absolutely essential to a Republican election victory.

She's going to go down so hard if she's the nominee that I'm even going to go down to my polling place on Super Tuesday and vote for her. Ohio doesn't require you to declare Party in order to vote in the primaries, so I'm going to go down there and vote for Palin. If she's the nominee in 2012, she'll get trounced so badly that even Walter Mondale will be laughing at her. She may not win any State other than Utah. She's a complete joke. And what makes it even more hilarious is that neither she nor her brain-dead supporters REALIZE that she's a joke.

Nominating Sarah Palin as their presidential candidate in 2012 would be like nominating Richard Simmons to be their candidate to win the gold medal in boxing at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

If there is one person who would be an even bigger disaster for the GOP than Palin it is Michele Bachmann, the Daily Show would have a field day if we saw those two duke it out in the primaries. Palin is bad enough, but Bachmann makes her look like a level headed woman by comparison.

Anyway, he was more stupid than Palin is, had a worse record in his state than Palin, and looked like a complete buffoon every time he opened his mouth during the primaries, as well as the general. And yet he came close enough to winning the election to be able to steal it. It's a big help when the media is on your side and can convince people that you are smarter than you come across and you'd be to have a beer with.

I think Karen Hughes wrote Bush's book. It matched her style of presentation, as much as I saw of it, and it was an obvious campaign ploy to make him look more intelligent and thoughtful.

And Bush was not elected.

And I have no idea on Palin. She can at least read, and I don't believe Bush could, so maybe she had more to do with writing it than Bush. I have no plans to read it, so I'll never know. :)

She hid the fact she made a grade of 'D' on a college course.

Would tend to indicate there might be other less than stellar grades on her many transcripts as she changed schools many times.
