4. You can actually see the space station at night with the nekkid eye
If you check what time it's flying over and about where to look in the sky it's very easy to see.
Much brighter than an airplane and traveling a lot faster.

5. Really?
Where can you find out if it will be overhead? My son would love to see that. We've been going out everynite and checking things out with our telescope. He's wanted to fly the space shuttle since he was 2. (He's 5 now) I don't know how to tell him it will be out of service soon. :(
He drew me a picture at school the other day of the space station the shuttle and himself his sister and me wearing jet packs. He would be so excited to see the space station!

6. This site will help you determine when the ISS will pass over your location during the next 10 days
http://www.heavens-above.com/

It takes a bit of work though because you have to enter your location and time zone to get the information.

I hope this helps!

:)

8. This is another site to help you:
http://spaceflight1.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/cities/skywatch.cgi?country=United+States

We watched it whenever we could in September. One night we saw the shuttle AND the ISS, one right after the other!

Let me know if you need help reading the site. It took me a while to figure it out.
