Question for elected Democrats
If memory serves me correctly when Democrats where in the "minority" they never seemed to be able to "block" anything in either the House or the Senate.

Yet the GOP seems to be able to block stuff pretty much at will.

WTF?

I am serious considering not voting anymore if you vote Democratic and get Republican anyway what the heck is the point?

The Democrats are either cowards, complicit or both.

2. It's all about the intracacies of compromise.
Republican compromise = we get everything we want.
Democratic compromise = we give them everything they want.

Keeps everybody civil.

3. The republicans still don't act civil even while getting everything they want.
