Anybody else seen this bumper sticker?
"Pray for Obama - Psalms 109:8"

Psalms 109:8:

"May his days be few and another take his place."

The next line is: "May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow."

Here's a link to the translations.

These people are truly despicable. Their hatred knows no bounds, and they call themselves christians? Unbelievable.

1. No, but Rachel Maddow had a guy on
last night talking about it. There's a current discussion on it.

I think you should let the Secret Service know about any
vehicle carrying that sticker; the vehicle's owner at
least belongs on a "watch list".

8. Didn't know it had already been discussed....
Guess it'll sink pretty quick then, which will be fine. Just glad it's been put out there by Rachel and members here.

6. Always good to remember what this country is up against.
If their god doesn't do something about this kind of behavior-in-his-name, I may just have to declare that he doesn't exists!

He sure doesn't go to any trouble to teach or reprimand his followers!

7. That is Typical
using religion to spread hatred and violence. What a great world we live in. I am atheist but I admire the man we call Jesus for his works and teachings as a man. Jesus would not approve of such sentiment.

11. Thanks for the suggestion
I'll have the phone number of the Secret Service handy in my car. I wanted so much to be able to do something, if and when I saw one of these. God, what despicable people!

15. We need to organize
People with those bumper stickers need to be kept on a database. You KNOW that people with 'No Blood for Oil' bumper stickers were monitored for the last 8 years, simply for expressing an opinion that never rose to the level of a threat. After Scott Roeder, not-so-veiled threats need to be taken very, very seriously.

16. I'm thinking about printing up "Messages"
to leave on any cars parked in a mall or street or to hand out stating that "Your license tag has been reported to the FBI as being on a car with possible terrorist connections. Your bumper sticker may be perceived as a threat to the safety of the President of the United States."

Then I'll actually report it!!!! :grr:

18. They get the airtime because the great unwashed public

It makes me sad, and sick too.
