Interesting tidbit on Afghanistan

The Afghanistan GDP ( Actual ) is around 11 billion .. ie everything that they produce ( products/services) is 11 billion


we are spending 5 Billion a month there... that is 60 billion a year ...


So if we pulled back our army for a year .. we could PAY each and every Afghani to do NOTHING for 5 Years - yet they continue making the money that they are now..


That is FUCKING AMAZING ... Imagine what could be achieved with that money .. if it was used constructively by Afganis themselves without NATO Troops around.. Can you imagine how much further that money would go than it is now?

2. Ultimately it might be cheaper and easier to do what has always been done in Afghanistan,

just pay the people off to get them to do what you want them to do.
