H2O Man, what is happening???

I have been away for awhile and just today found a thread taking about H2O Man being ill.... I am freaking out.... I could not find a comprehensive thread that describe what is happening to him. I can only find threads sending greetings to him and his family. Would you please tell me what is happening to him or would you point me out to a thread describing his condition?

For many years, H2O Man's wise words have been HOPE in my world. I am just so concerned.

1. He had a serious abdominal problem

that required surgery. He is recovering nicely, but has to rest (something his children say he has no experience in). He will be around sooner or later.

In short, H20Man is still very much with us.

First one is about his condition, and a request from his family for DUers to help keep him from getting bored and trying to do more than he should as he mends.
