Moonie Times hit with EEOC complaint.
Edited on Wed Nov-18-09 07:35 AM by 11 Bravo
Richard Miniter, neocon schmuck and former editor of the editorial page at the Washington Times, charges that he was forced to attend a religious ceremony culminating with a mass marriage conducted by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. Later, according to the complaint, after joking about the white, flowing, robes favored by Moon, Miniter was fired.
For years, the Times has insisted that there is absolutely NO connection between the Unification Church and the newspaper. This has now proven to be a lie.
Of course, the paper will survive. As long as there remain unimaginably wealthy wingnuts willing to lose millions of dollars to spew bullshit under the guise of "news", there will be a Washington Times. But they have now forfeited the right to call themselves a "newspaper".

1. Let The Implosion Begin...
Looks like the Moonie Times is about to hit the rocks...and about time. For decades Moonie money pumped up that scandal sheet with cash to gain influence (like they did under the boooshies) and with the newspaper business on life support it's no surprise this birdcage liner is having troubles. Looks like Moon's kids aren't into wasting millions on the dump and hopefully it will implode from its own largess in the very near future.

This could be the blueprint for the future of the Murdoch empire was the old man's kids don't share the same passions and waste the huge amounts of money on loss leaders.

Fortunately, with the exception of CSPIN, the Moonie Times has never been considered much of a real newspaper.
