Some Christians especially the extremists ignore the teachings of Jesus of turning the other cheek and loving your enemy and they study the Old Testament as if that is the way they are suppose to live their lives. They believe in Jesus for their salvation but they don't look to him for how to live their lives. They look to the Old Testament for how to live their lives. They look to the Old Testament so that they can justify their anger and vengance. That doesn't make any sense to me. I use to be a Christian but there just came a point where I didn't understand anything they were teaching anymore. So, I gave it up and stopped being a Christian.
