these are the terrorist, they are amongst us. Interesting how no other decent media outlet is speaking out about this hateful rhetoric. In my opinion it is because they don’t want to be accused by the right that they are in the tank for Obama, but this goes beyond the pale. These people are really sick, and they have the nerve to call themselves Christians. Christians they are not, Christ was a man of peace.

4. Oh man! He is really impressive.

His message was that the conservatives have this on their heads, if they don't condemn the hate talk. AND we should not be sniping at Obama's seemingly slow action toward more progressive changes.

He's fantastic, especially considering his hand in ultra right evangelical work in prior years.

5. He is as frustrated as many of us are with the so called

supporters of President Obama who do nothing but gripe about everything he does, almost as much as the right wing gripes. He said it beautifully. In this time, like no other, where the right wing has become so vile and violent, we on the left need to ban together against them and stand with our president. It really is that simple.

9. i will applaud POTUS where he deserves it

and be critical where it needs to be done.

11. Of course I don't mean "blind, gushing, he can do no wrong"

support. I also don't advocate the constant "he isn't living up to his promises" stuff that flies around here constantly. When those who are supposed to be on his side don't give him adequate time to do anything, and then they also don't stand up to those who keep him from living up to his promises, how can a single man do anything? Can any of you say you could do better, given such circumstances of negativity? I can't imagine it. It must be like trying to haul 100 times your weight up the steepest mountain.

There is a difference between pushing left and undermining the POTUS making it more difficult to get the changes that we all want.

6. I heard most of the interview from the other room

Can't wait for the clip to be posted. Shaffer was spot on and it needed to be said, I hope it gets more attention. Shaffer came right out and said that this type of "christianity" is equivalent to the taliban--and he's right.
