1. This was the woman drivers fault
The police had road blocks so the motorcade could come thru. A woman drove around the barricades and hit one of the police officers. Must have been a republican. Who in the world would drive around a barricade with police officers standing there.

The first one was a pedestrian was hit while crossing an intersection at night. The place was at the intersection "called malfunction junction". This intersection is dangerous while driving a car in the middle of the day. VP Biden was not with the cars, they were taking them back to DC I think.
