DFA(Democracy For America) meeting in my town tonight..
The questions I plan to propose are: "Seeing that Medicare for all would be the best solution, why is it not being considered and why is the peoples Government answering to Corporations who are in fact, not people?"

Got anything better? lets hear it...you got 30mins

Healthcare Reform Forum To Be Held Tuesday

Concerned about maintaining a strong public option in the healthcare reform legislation, a group of citizens has brought together a panel of professionals from a variety of backgrounds to address a forum to be held in Terre Haute on
Tuesday evening. Sponsored by the group Democracy for America, the forum’s six panelists will range from a historian to a representative of the AARP. Also included will be Dr. Carolyn Sur, Director of Campus Ministries at St Mary of the Woods, two physicians, and the vice president of the Indiana Farmer’s Union.

Questions will be solicited in writing from the audience with the goal of helping to clarify why supporters of the public option feel it is a critical component of any healthcare reform.

The Healthcare Reform Forum will be held in the county council meeting room in the Vigo County Annex,
127 Oak in Terre Haute
November 17th
7:30-9:00 pm and is open to the public.

Panelists are as follows:

Richard Wahlman, Vice President, Indiana Farmer's
Union

currently working on dissertation exploring the history of American
maternity policy

at St. Mary of the Woods College
