1. I think that is just a tall man bending over to greet a short, old man.
This entire bowing criticism thing has gotten totally out of hand IMHO.

2. Sure it's gotten out of hand
And certain segments in our society would much rather yammer on and on about that than deal with some very real problems affecting significant portions of the country. But it's not because the Republicans don't have any ideas or solutions, so stop saying that.

10. Is this empty head on your part, or do
you really not know any Republican ideas? It's good to get out a bit and know things, even if you don't agree with them. :)

12. They have lots of ideas, it's true.
The problem is their ideas are all counterproductive and stupid.

the proper respect he gave the emperor.

8. And if he didn't bow, the right would be all over him for not paying
proper respect to one of our strongest allies...they just want to bitch about something.

11. That's just because Nixon was crooked.
It took a two man team of White House valets to screw on his pants every morning.

Obama should show his respect by pissing on the Emperor's shoe or something along those lines. Fucking idiots.

21. No, it isn't. Shaking hands is mutual. The Emperor doesn't bow to anyone,
so it's not mutual.

26. Fine. But the OP is specifically about bowing to the Emperor. So your post
Edited on Tue Nov-17-09 09:32 PM by pnwmom
is irrelevant to the discussion then.
