Stupak: I'll Kill Bill If Abortion Amendment Goes (VIDEO)
Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) pledged on Tuesday that he would kill health care reform legislation if his anti-abortion amendment is taken out.

"They're not going to take it out," Stupak said on Fox News. "If they do, health care will not move forward ... We won fair and square."

Asked about a comment from White House senior adviser David Axelrod this weekend suggesting that the language should be adjusted, Stupak was dismissive. "That is why Mr. Axelrod is not a legislator," he said. "He doesn't really know what he is talking about."

Stupak said 10 to 20 Democrats would join him in voting against the bill if his language was stripped out. The amendment would bar any insurance plan that is purchased with government subsidies from covering abortions.

We'll just roll with this, after all abortions aren't all that expensive, it's not a BIG problem. Just think of the fancy Rose Garden signing ceremony, and all of the love we will get from all of the people! thank god for "The Insurance Industry Profit Protection and Anti-Choice Act of 2009" :toast: :pals:    :fistbump: :fistbump: :headbang: :headbang: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :applause: :applause: :applause: :woohoo: :woohoo: :applause: :woohoo: :patriot:

15. Please explain how
he can do that. Is he the whole house of representatives. I wish some body with a lot of money runs against him in the primary even and he don't even get a shot. Michigan isn't crazy. Look at how Minnesota shut Bachmann up when she has several REPUBLICANS going to run against her in the primary. AND the preacher who gave her all the illegal money he just appropriated from his church won't be able to go on TV and tell his flock to vote for her, he has been threatened with losing his tax exempt status.

Or maybe since they have about 100 request from citizens to have her investigated for illegal use of federal funds and for inciting to riot and inciting harm to the person of federal representatives she is hiding.

Course says the liberals are afraid of this firebrand..Hell she is afraid she is going to be arrested. And if they can lock up a Speaker of the HOuse, Rostenkowski (sp) for using postage illegally what in the devil can they do to her. And if we keep on writing to CREW and the Ethic commission in the HOuse we can move them forward.

18. He has very publicly forced Pelosi's hand once.
Clearly she lacked the votes for passage without the reps Stupak brought with him.

His threat should be considered serious.
