Where do Wal-Mart employees shop? The Dollar Store?

4. I'm tempted to start placing "Post It" notes on the columns....
in the store with the words "Employee Free Choice Act" written on them to alert their employees as to how to better their lives....

5. Hey!! I shop at the Dollar Store.
And save a bundle. Have been for years, even when I had good job.
in fact, some of the "nicest" people in town shop there, quietly.

very quietly.

I refuse to go to Wal-Mart if at all possible.

7. Just don't buy chemical stuff (cleansers, cosmetics) made in China.
You don't know what's in that stuff.

8. Wal-Mart of course.
Wal-Mart gives them a 10% discount and that is considered part of their compensation.

Wal-Mart doesn't expect it's employees to have lives outside of the 4 walls which they have confined them.

12. While walmart does give employees a 10% discount....
it is NOT considered part of their compensation. They also give out quarterly bonuses, I worked there, I got some nice ones. I also made pretty good money for a part-time worker in this area.

So before you start spreading "facts" you should know them.

There are some very well paid employees at WalMart, btw.

They are not entirely evil.

10. Americans are materialistic
Maybe the key is for Americans to stop being so materialistic. When I visit the USA I shop at Walmart, and I see people who look fairly poor buying junk. They also seem to buy a lot of soda and sweets - and that's what makes so many of them over weight.

13. Uh oh. DU's gonna get you know
Apparently under DU rules, you aren't allowed to suggest that the obese have any responsibility for their being obese. Quick, retreat.
