Scores Rally For Runaway Convert
Teen Who Ran Away To Orlando Says She Fears For Life

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Christian activists and others at a rally in Ohio said they worry about the fate of a teenage girl who ran away from home after converting from Islam to Christianity.

Rifqa Bary fled from the Columbus area to Orlando, Fla., saying she feared her father would hurt or kill her. He has denied those claims, and authorities found no evidence the 17-year-old girl was ever threatened or in danger.

Bary was recently returned to Ohio and is now in foster care.

Scores of people gathered to show support for the teen on Monday across from Franklin County Juvenile Court, and a judge will decide where she ultimately lives.
