heheheheh...KO's Rush clip last night...
Edited on Tue Nov-17-09 09:56 AM by Skidmore
I hve been thinking about this today. Rush was really upset that these nutjobs that follow him and Beck are called "Teabaggers." I chuckled when I heard him say "They call us 'Teabaggers'." I don't think he was just trying to whip up the faithful, but I think that has got under his skin. I will continue to use the label with gusto now.

1. Well they do 'circle teabagging' which involves coordination and some
semblance of delicacy. It can't be easy. Different from a circle firing squad or a circle jerk.

2. ROTFLMBAO!!!
From the minute they started using the term, and by "they" I mean the same Republicans and self-proclaimed conservatives that coined that term for that type of event themselves, I laughed, and laughed and laughed and never stopped using it.

I never will either. If its Tea-Baggers they wanna be, then Tea-Baggers they are.

LOL!!!!

4. A really funny aspect is
when a RW (former friend, HS, long story) started using the term I chuckled and he did not believe me when I told him what it meant in popular slang.

later I willingly use the term and he now tries to take the "moral" high ground by chastising its use and I am a vulgar Liberal for using it.

I point out They themselves started using that "repulsive" term to describe themselves before they knew what it meant. It's use by them in the beginning, Illustrates just how "out of touch" they are to regular society.

it sure burns him.

6. Cue Outrage: “Teabagger” Is An Oxford Word Of The Year Finalist
In a press release touting “unfriend” as the word of the year, the New Oxford American Dictionary may have unwittingly made a more controversial move than the New Oxford American Dictionary pretty much ever does.

No, it wasn’t another cutesy tech neologism: they included “teabagger” as one of their Word of the Year finalists.

According to the release, they define “teabagger” as “a person who protests President Obama’s tax policies and stimulus package, often through local demonstrations known as ‘Tea Party’ protests (in allusion to the Boston Tea Party of 1773).”
