Wow! My college friend is getting ready to be on the Daily Show.

Jake Adelstein was editor of the college paper at Jochi Daigaku (Sophia University) in Tokyo while I was there and he went on to work as a reporter for a major Japanese newspaper for several years.

He has apparently written a book on the experience and is going to be on Stewart to discuss it. I look forward to hearing his perspective because his is a truly unique experience.

Way to go, Jake. Congrats.
