A sample of morning "news" -- jeeez.
MSNBC - Morning Joe & Mika shamelessly bashing health care reform and dissing the Democrats
so I switch to CNN . . .

CNN - giving a big "special report" on the militias rise since Obama was elected (complete with showcasing the nutjobs therein), so I switch to CBS . . .

CBS - segment on Laura Bush, who is whining about how her poor good-hearted hubby is still picked on by everyone, blah, blah

*click* I give up. Damn liberal media.

1. The first news item that I saw as soon as I turned on the TV was about Sarah.
Off went the TV for the good of my mental health.

2. If you think that's worst
Try watching the local morning news on tv. You will not find any real news. You might as well read a local newspaper in the morning and be done with it.

5. Local paper?
I don't think so...

Gannett owns our paper and all the other papers within 125 mile radius of us...they have made a corporate decision to "feature" local businesses on the front page of our paper(s) as part of their business-friendly atmosphere. In addition, "news" articles are generally written for them by the business development manager of the local C of C....

Corporate whoring is in fashion these days...

3. I absolutely REFUSE to watch Morning Dead Intern Joe...
...so I am watching CNN...and that crap came on about militias? Well, the most intersting part was that after claiming Obama was destroying the US Const, not one of the nuts could name any one part of the Const which was under attack by Obama. These people are scary nuts!
