2. CNN Will Be Begging Lou Doobies Back...
They did it before in the 90's...and that was when the network still had some credibility and ratings. Damn thing of losing Lou is no matter how dismal his numbers were it'll only get worse with John King or whatever meatpuppet they put on. That network has become so vapid that its an insult for most informed people to tune in...right or left. I'm all but sure that Lou will find his way back onto the cables...and if Faux doesn't give him the same timeslot he'll gladly come back to Chicken Noodle Nuze...all he has to do is wait for the management wheel to spin again and he'll be welcomed back with lots of promotion and hoopla.

5. Nope. It was his fellow employees that got him canned.
They were sick of dealing with him, and that was the straw that broke CNN's back.

Other legitimate journalists working a hard news story with actual facts were tired of Dobbs using ideology instead of logic to attack them, if the facts reported didn't conform to Dobb's worldview.

7. The Door Revolves Quickly
Yes...Klein had had enough trying to defend a show that became a haven for militias and racists. But that wall was held up by business considerations and it will again. Unfortunately we live in an era where real journalism is considered an expense and the major purveyors of "news" on the cables are merged with entertainment divisions and are geared for least-common denominatior...whatever can gather the most eyeballs. As Faux has shown, merging fantasy with the facade of "news" can draw a lot of eyeballs and money as well at attention and influence.

CNN is having an identity crisis. It's tried to play "down the middle" between faux and MSNBC and has been flattened by both...it's lost a lot of its viewers and the only big name the network has is Larry King. Doobies was a last vestage to a "golden age" when CNN was the top rated network. This also coincides with Time's take over...and its move toward infotainment rather than any true journalism. Again, that's considered an expense...far better business sense to stick to stories that can be spun and manipulated.

The networks downward spin continues and I see the corporate's answer is to dumb down further...thus Lou will be fondly remembered in the board rooms where the real decisions are made.

8. Please bring back Bobbie Battista!
I miss her so much. She was one of the early CNN robotic news readers. Nice voice. Spoke clearly. Why, she even enunciated! There was no stupid chatter. She read straightforward honest-to-goodness news stories; occassionally introduced a remote segment; and that was it.

Imagine a solid hour (minus commercials) of the day's major news stories sans kidnapped white women and children, Balloon Boys, car chases, Carrie Prejean, and silly teabaggers --the mind boggles!

4. Actually,
I think he has his eye on the WH. Back during the primaries, there was a "grass roots" movement encouraging him to run as an Indy. I don't think his colossal ego would let him seek something so mundane as a senate seat!

9. CNN could do something smart like put on a Cenk Uygur show
Have a show that starts a half hour into Hannity's show staring Cenk. After about two months compare the ratings for the first half and second half of Hannity's show and see what America really wants to watch
