Instead of tort reform
Why not have Doctor reform The number of doctors getting malpractice lawsuits is not spread out over the entire profession. Bad doctors get most of the suits over and over. The ONLY protection the consumer has is a lawsuit. My question is why does the AMA not put out a list of bad doctors? It is absurd to think that the Doctor's AMA Club would discipline it's members. Plumbers have government codes & standards checked by a government inspector. The AMA never will report the bad just cover it up. Time for government oversight of the AMA.

1. You can report the bad doctors... my reco, instead of tort reform is....
...go after the insurance companies that gauge the doctors on their medical malpractice insurance. The reason doctors charge so much is so they can pay for the insurance!

I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone bring this up yet...

2. The AMA polices doctors therefore there is no list
Bad doctors just move around. They are not regulated except by themselves and we see what that did for Wall Street.
