"Palin writes about [...] her love of books."
Edited on Mon Nov-16-09 03:43 AM by mb7588a
I was reading about Palin's book, and came across this tidbit:

"The book is not all politics. Palin writes about everything from moose eyeballs to her love of books..."
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Weekend/palin-son-track-advised-leaving-governors-office-dont/story?id=9083830

And that got me thinking about this tidbit and how "Reading makes a country great." Sigh...:

But for Sarah's benefit, it's available on CD:

Edited to add what she calls "THE CLASSICS":

1. Yes and Glenn Beck, too!
I read recently, maybe it was the NY Times, how Beck is becoming a huge force in the publishing world... right up there next to Oprah in moving book sales because of his irregular on-air endorsements... So I guess the Republicans are reading again. Congrats to the Grand Old Party, I knew you could do it!

3. Her Literary Taste Tends Toward the 7th Grade
Palin's favorite books are middle school classics The Pearl by John Steinbeck and Animal Farm by George Orwell, the latter of which she considers an uplifting political story. If those pigs beat the odds, so can I.

6. I think Scooter Libby gave Sarah some writing tips...
I also think I've figured out why the GOPers think the ice is melting in Alaska...Could it be because Sarah is so danged hot?

What, as doorstops? No, wait...to balance on top of her head to help develop that proper runway walk.

13. I was going to say she probably likes nothing more ...
... than gathering around a big bonfire of them with her like-minded neighbors.
