some significant number of the remainder haven't visited the site since the election, or since some previous election (2006...or 2004, or 2002) and of the remainder a significant number visit occasionally or read without posting. The number of active and contributing members is probably very much lower.

adds up to 119,766 but many of those profiles are seemingly dead as I checked a couple of examples in the Y's. Y B Gerbil has 4 posts since jul 2008 and y200 has 0 since 17 Jul 2008. Is that somebody who registered but never posted, or somebody who was tombstoned but still remains in the listing?
