Have you read 'Saints and Villains' by Denise Giardinia? I've read three of her books in the last couple of weeks and they're great. The book about Dietrich Bonhoeffer is a great read. I went to High School with Denise and I'm proud of her.

18. Nope those books are bought in bulk by right wing think tanks and distributed for free.

My guess is one of the religious institutes like the one headed by Pat Robertson, but not necessarily his, bought a bunch and distributed copies to various churches to be distributed to the congregation. This method accomplishes two things. It makes a best seller out of the book and it gets it distributed to readers who most likely wouldn't spend money in a book store for it. The Lawd works in deceitful ways.

where he got the book? It would be interesting to trace it back to where it came from. If you read my post #18 you will see where I'm coming from. I have a feeling we will see a lot of this happening before the 2012 election, where the WORD is spread subtlety with this kind of propaganda tactic.

24. Last week a little neighborhood lad was down on the corner

with a box of tiny puppies trying to sell them. I asked the kid what kind of pups they were and he proudly said, "they're Jehovah's Witless pups!"

Just a few minutes ago the lad was back out there selling his pups again and he told me, "They're Baptist Pups!" I said, "I thought you told me they were Jehovah's Witless pups last week." He said, "They were Jehovah's Witless pups last week, but this week these pups have their eyes open!"
