Police Arrest Mother in Toddler Death
Police Arrest Mother in Toddler Death

SACRAMENTO, CA - A mother has been arrested for allegedly drowning her 3-year-old daughter to death early Sunday morning, according to officials.

Sacramento Police Department spokesman Konrad von Shoech said Anul Ram, 31, was arrested six hours after officers responded to her apartment complex on the 7300 block of Greenhaven Drive around 2 a.m.

Officers found the toddler unresponsive and performed CPR until paramedics arrived, said von Shoech. The child was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

The child's father called police at 1:19 a.m. asking for a welfare check of his daughter and 7-year-old son. He said Ram had just picked them up from his home. Von Shoech said the father called again just before 2 a.m. alerting officers he belived Ram may have killed their daughter.

1. 1:19 AM dad called police...
just before 2 AM another call with the proclamation she may have kill my child... WTF were the police doing between 1:19 - 2 AM that they did NOT respond until the child was dead.

However, if she had called and said my ex-husband is at my front door, the response would have been swift and brutal.

Thanks for the perception fathers are not good fathers unless they are with the mother and very happy. And mothers are ALL ways a good mother no matter what the situation.

Now that man knowing if he had gone to the house the police would have come sooner with the emphases on him and NOT the child, but may have saved his child life. He would have received the same or worst treatment if he would had not released the children to her.
