Bad Economy
Edited on Sun Nov-15-09 02:11 PM by discocrisco01
I got a job working in the military-industrial complex. Being grateful to have a job is something that I need to be thankful for. In Nevada, things are out as not as nice.

From KLAS

"Unemployment benefits have run out for thousands of Nevadans and the state unemployment office is now flooded with calls from desperate people.

More than 12,000 Nevadans have exhausted their unemployment benefits, according to the Nevada Dept. of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.

About 50,000 Nevadans are eligible for an extension of benefits recently passed by Congress but it may be Christmas or later before those people see the money.

Mike Bennett's benefits will run out at the end of the month. "I'm at odds trying to figure out what's going to happen next," Bennett said. He has lost everything he's ever earned. "I've been in and out of various shelters because I'm not able to pay for everything." He's fighting to find stability once again.

Bennett makes yet another call on a job listing only to find the job has already been filled. Nevada received the unemployment benefits extension because of its high unemployment rate. In Las Vegas, the unemployment rate is near 14 percent"

This is not good. i have surrender to the fact that there is no solution. I guess the best thing to do learn to have eternal patience and let the system to heal itself which take years and years to accomplish
