Obama in Asia - looks like he knows the meaning of the word Diplomacy

"...the fact that a US president has sat down at the same table with a member of the Burmese military government is a clear sign that America is serious about wanting to re-engage with the region, says the BBC's Rachel Harvey in Singapore.

US presidents have previously refused to hold meetings with Asean when Burmese leaders were present.

Mr Obama linking hands with Asean leaders
The US has previously boycotted Asean meetings because of Burma

"The president was just - as you know - in the scheduled meeting with the 10 Asean nations, and brought up in the meeting the... release of Aung San Suu Kyi by Burma. So, he brought that up directly with that government," Mr Obama's spokesman, Robert Gibbs said.

A joint statement released after the US-Asean talks, welcomed Mr Obama's policy of engagement with Burma and "underscored the importance of national reconciliation" there, but did not mention Aung San Suu Kyi.

Our president is by far the best we've had in my 61 years and that's plain to see even after only 10 plus months. We done great when WE elected this man to lead us. Yes WE done good.

4. I think the the fog in the bottom land is getting so thick as to be drowning their crys out
the fog is so heavy with the smoke from all those bridges they've burned and the stinch is so strong that we'll not be having a re:puke: majority again in a long time if ever again. They're not to be taken lightly though 'cause that is the only card they have left now

Have you noticed how the President always and I mean always stays on the upper road and thats not by accident that's just him. Good man we have as our President and thats all I want, a good man. A good man always does the right things, always.
