Consider just a handful of laws that had no chance of passing much less being signed into law during the past eight years:

  • Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act

  • Children’s Health Insurance Reauthorization Act

  • Omnibus Public Lands Management Act

  • Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009

1. As someone once said, the only thing I hate worse than the Democrats is the republicans
As far as your wish goes in spite of the useless insights of the MSM, I firmly believe that the independents in this country are not and will not buy the extremist right wing bullshit that the republican party has erased

As long as the republicans give voice to that, Democrats will continue to win

4. They won't if the Dems don't get cracking and working together..

7. they won't.
especially if we end up getting shitty(or no) healthcare legislation.

and even MORE especially if the unemployment thing hasn't turned around in a MAJOR way by next november- and there's no apparent reason to think that it will or even might.
