I mean, if this happened, Schmidt's reaction seems pretty understandable.

This prank phone call made Palin look like an abject fool, simply because why would the French president have tracked her down? This episode revealed her for the hubris-filled, nicompoop that she is. In the words of Schmidt, indeed...."How can anyone be so stupid?"
