I believe Sarah Palin suffers
Edited on Sat Nov-14-09 08:12 AM by Are_grits_groceries
from ADD. She also has a complete inability to process the English language. Her brain collects her thoughts into short phrases.

In her actions, she jumps from one motion or plan to another randomly. She also responds to anything that catches her attention in the tiniest way. Following her physically is like following a frog with a sunburned ass. When she stops, she jumps again almost immediately because of a stimulus.

Verbally, she also jumps around randomly and catches the phrases she has composed as they float by in her brain. Whatever floats by is what she will say. Certain words will always come up because they are permanently in the flow. Examples would be 'lower taxes', 'you betcha', 'freedom loving', and 'family values.'

I said that she 'suffers.' I misspoke. Anybody who tries to follow her and make any sense of what she does will suffer. She's as happy and oblivious as a pig in slop.

14. She has them.
We are the ones who suffer from her having them.

Princess Oblivious seems to suffer from nothing, so far as I can tell.

4. Last week, Tweety seem terrified that Palin would be the GOP
presidential candidate in '12.
I hope she is.

Probably "write" another book after she loses, blaming a whole new set of former friends.
You may be right about the ADD.....

10. That's nothing to hope for
If she becomes the Republican candidate, she can become the next President. You should never feel so smugly certain that any particular person can be beaten. If unemployment remains high, or some late-breaking Obama scandal (real or synthetic) arises shorty before November 2012, the American people are utterly and entirely capable of overlooking Palin's many, many flaws and putting her into power.

I'd much rather have a tougher fight against a smarter, more competent Republican so the downside risk of the Republican winning isn't so horrendous as Palin winning.

21. Bush became President
It shouldn't have even been close. Palin's 'world view' is pretty much the same as Bush's and she's a much better speaker. he concealed his legacy boy resume with a down home folksiness that appealed to people who just weren't paying that much attention.

There are a lot of people out there who believe in the "democratic" (note small "d") idea that anyone can become president - regardless of merit. Sarah appeals to those "She's just like me!" people. And there are plenty of them out there. They don't care that her political experience was limited to mayor of a small town or a short stint as Governor of a state with a population smaller than San Francisco. They don't care that she quit. They don't care that she's not that bright. They don't care that she is unable to take responsibility for any of her failures. Plenty over people can identify with her rationalizations and sympathize with her victimhood.

People who like her are people like her. The feel victimized by __________ (insert word of choice i.e. the government, affirmative action, immigration, liberals, the media, etc.) "She's just like me!" has the potential to get Sarah the nomination. Whether or not it will be enough to win her the White House is another story.

23. So you are assuming the GOP will win the next election?
I'm not being "smug" I'm just not planning on giving up without a fight, and I am disgusted by so many Dems who are already mentally defeated.

26. Where the hell did you get that out of what I wrote?
I think it's very likely Obama will win the next election, and unlikely that Palin will either get the Republican nomination, or win the Presidency if she did.

What I SAID what that it's NOT IMPOSSIBLE for Palin to win either the nomination or the Presidency, and anything that puts her a step closer to winning the Presidency is not a thing to be hoped for.

Damn... it's like you were just looking for someone to go off on, and didn't pay one bit of attention to what I wrote. Either that, or you have an enormous blind spot for "subtleties" like the difference between "possible" and "will".
