Funds created to help catch South Bend dog killers
Two reward funds were created Friday to help South Bend police catch those responsible for killing two pets during separate burglaries.

South Bend resident created "The Justice Fund" at Teachers Credit Union. Anyone can donate to the fund by visiting a Teachers Credit Union location.

Gina Oliver created a similar fund at 1st Source Bank, called "Justice For Linus Reward Fund." Donations may be made at any 1st Source Bank location.

The reward fund money will be offered for people giving information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the pets' deaths.

Linus, an 8-year-old Old English Sheepdog, was fatally shot by burglars on Monday morning at a home on Bonds Avenue.
