13. I've had a terrible headache today - haven't had one in years.

All around the left eye socket. Sinus, I suppose. I'm pretty good at relieving pain thru biofeedback, so with the luxury of being home I've kept it manageable. Hey, when did you pick up the two extra furballs? Weren't they your moms? So Edie has an older sister?:hi::hug:

18. They've been with us since late February.

They were Mr. smokey's mom's cats. Edie Lou has 2 older sisters, Freddie's a girl. My mother-in-law picked out the name before she picked out the kitty. It was really rough going for a while there, but they've settled in. Freddie's more like a piece of furniture that eats and poops than a cat.

As much as I can say truthseekers! This is Obama's new Counsel, who replaces Craig. I have to brag a little because he works for my firm (in D.C. of course). He's been Obama's personal atty for a while. But his wife, in the pic, is the woman who just left because she was so against Fox "News" !!! She gave them a few snarky farewell comments on her way out. They are like the No. 1 Wash. power couple. And they have a cat. of course they do.

TIPS FROM THE TRUTHSEEKERS IT SUPPORT DESK


Hello from Hogwarts Grimmauld Place!

Our regular pc is undergoing some "upgrades" right now (SP3, new office, etc.) and we're taking every measure to not destroy it, with everything backed up and such, wands at the ready.

Win 7 looks to be pretty good so far (so I've read) but for most it will require ALL NEW HARDWARE. More on this later.

If you plan on hanging on to your hardware and XP/Vista I recommend backing up all your stuff and letting Windows Update do its thing.

IMPORTANT:
First, Run a defrag
Go to Start > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter
Start it before you go to sleep and let it run all night.

Next SAVE ALL YOUR STUFF! My Docs is a good place to start. Use a USB "stick" (avail everywhere $10 -$35 depending on the size) or other network drive. Copy-Paste City!

Finally do a System Restore Point
XP: Go to Start > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
Click "Create a new Restore Point" and Next.

If you've done all this you are ready to let 'er rip. (microsoft update, that is)

H0PEfully all the magic updates take hold and you get through the Forbidden Forest and you don't get

DO ANOTHER RESTORE POINT NOW!!!!!

NOW go to Control Panel > Windows Updates and TURN OFF AUTOMATIC UPDATES!

At some point microsoft will declare an End-Of-Support for XP so do this FINAL UPDATE while your XP PC is running good. If something happens bad you can ALWAYS go BACK to this Restore Point where everything is happy!
