Balloon Boy Heene Parents free to leave state, "Need to go to NY and CA... ...looking for job..."
"Job" meaning something to do with film, cable, television, etc.

Any doubt of that?

Should they be required to fork over all proceeds derived from their "stunt"?

Until all costs are paid for emergency services, etc., or beyond?

IMO, they need to pay costs and beyond, a message needs to be sent.

Do I think it will happen? No, I think they'll profit grandly from this bullshit.

Fuckers.

3. Nothing on the "Media Outlet" that the sheriff talked about?
Kinda figured THAT would disappear....

Sheriff: Balloon Boy Family Made Deal with Media Outlet

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Aldernen says a media outlet may have played a role in the Heene family's balloon hoax, according to The Associated Press.

Documents show a media outlet made a deal to pay the Heene family, Aldernen told the AP. He did not name the outlet in question, but he says the organization is in an industry that blurs "the line between entertainment and news."

4. I remember that, don't know if it came up during trial, however.
As they plea bargained, it looks like there was no need to go into details about the crime.

Sentencing will come later in the month.

6. If they want jobs, they will HAVE to leave the state, because their
stunt/hoax has made them persona non grata in Colorado. No employer in their right mind would hire someone like Heene who will lie like a dog to make a fast buck.
