Tom Tancredo wants to run for governor of Colorado
I heard this on local radio this morning. Here's an article from today on the web.

Tom Tancredo's comeback

Lou Dobbs may be out of a job at CNN, but the anti-illegal immigration banner looks like it will continue to be carried in politics by former Colorado congressman Tom Tancredo, who is preparing to run for governor of his home state.

Tancredo told a Denver television station that he “anticipates” running against former congressman Scott McInnis in the Republican gubernatorial primary, though hasn’t filed any official paperwork declaring his candidacy.

Tancredo’s plan to enter the race comes after state Senate Minority Leader Josh Penry, a young, up-and-coming conservative, abruptly dropped out of the governor’s race earlier this week, leaving McInnis running without serious GOP competition.

2. Does Colorado really want a depressed Governor?
Why, just the mere mention of his military deferment due to depression is still enough to send him running!

Seems unfit to serve (as Governor) if you ask me.

3. Run Tom Run!
I hope that he does run and hold dozens of press conferences, debate McInnis several times and generally do all he can to polarize the state Republicans.

All the better for us.

4. Yup
I'm not so crazy about Ritter. But as soon as I heard Tom wants to run, Ritter looked so much better. :D

5. Mario Solis Maris has been asking his listeners to sign up to his Facebook Page
Draft Tom Tancredo For Governor. I guess the first night of comments got pretty wild and now the site has stopped accepting all members and discussion is "Closed: Limited public content. Members can see all content." :)

6. Tom Tancredo is a desperate little man who wants people to notice him

He's Colorado's version of our very own Darryl Issa..just another insignificant worm-of-a-man desperately seeking attention:)
he should run for president of the Minuteman Border Militia.. that's where his heart is..
