Judge Directs US Attorney To Collect $20K From Orly Taitz After Failure To Pay Fine

A federal judge in Georgia has ordered the US Attorney to collect a $20,000 judgment against Orly Taitz after the Birther attorney failed to pay the fine -- which she appealed -- within 30 days.

Here's the full order from Judge Clay Land, of the US District Court in the Middle District Of Georgia:

"Orly Taitz has failed to pay the $20,000.00 sanction ordered by the Court on October 13, 2009. Accordingly, the Clerk is ordered to enter final judgment in favor of the United States of America and against Orly Taitz in the principal amount of $20,000.00. The United States Attorney is authorized and directed to collect the judgment as provided by law.
IT IS SO ORDERED, this 13th day of November, 2009. "

2. And the phone calls start rolling in
They probably have all of her numbers. I hate those slimy bill collectors but I'd rather have to deal with them then that annoying idiot Orly Taitz

3. Hahahahahahaha
This woman's going to end up in a mental institution eating her own hair and feces when this is over. She's certifiably insane.

4. If she doesn't have the cash (and I don't think she does),
they'll file a Judgment against her, either a lien on real estate to which she has title or perhaps execute a sheriff's warrant whereby personal property maybe auctioned.

6. Maybe. Maybe not.
If she owns real estate or personal property jointly (i.e., legally with another person), that other person is subject to the same lien as the assets are comingled.

7. Well, I'm sure she's got an expensive car...
That way, she can walk to the courthouse judgement-free to file her next bogus lawsuit.

8. She must have a bank account
The account can be garnished, repeatedly if necessary until the full amount is taken. With garnishment fees applied each time.

10. She would have withdrawn the funds from a bank account in anticipation
of having the account frozen if the decision wasn't "favorable" to her.

13. Good idea, but that wouldn't help completely
She could buy groceries with cash and let her husband pay the mortgage from a separate account, but how about all the expenses of her law practice--rent, phone, personnel, insurance, etc.? I think at some point she has to issue some checks and hopefully have money in the account to cover them. If nothing else, she could close accounts and open new ones to stay ahead of the garnishment, but that would keep her so busy she'd have no time to continue with the birther nonsense.

9. Oh no! Not a lien on her real estate!
First they came for Orly Taitz, and I said nothing...
