things like:

gay marriage
abortion
contraception

NONE of those three things affect anyone except the ones personally engaging in it, except in a peripheral sense, and should be of little or no concern except for the people involved.

abortion is legal
contraception is legal
gay marriage would be , if busybodies would mind their own business
