8. I posted this NYT reader comment that KSM trial could lead to the truth.
Or his "untimely death."

-edit-

I hope that this marks the beginning of the end of the Bush administration's lies about 9/11. KSM is the Achilles heal of the official story. A huge part of the official 9/11 Commission report is sourced to him, or rather, to what anonymous CIA agents claim he said while they were torturing him. There are countless unexplained questions, most notably his deep ties to the ISI. Finally and perhaps most absurdly for the official story is the question of his alleged role in the murder of the one American journalist at a major newspaper who was trying to find out the truth about 9/11, Daniel Pearl.

Anyone who values truth and justice will demand that the government not be allowed to blackmail or torture him into pleading guilty, that he be given competent representation, and that the trial be fully open to the public, with the defense permitted to call any witnesses it chooses and the government prevented from engaging in Cheney-like legal sophistry.

By the time this trial is over, the official story of 9/11 may well be held in the same regard as the Iraqi WMD story.
