Something about prosecution of terrorism suspects? Anyone know anything about this?

4. Don't see how it is possible, with all the torture that he was subjected too.
:shrug: Not saying he should not be tried but I think we blew the case from the very beginning when we decided to torture him..He was never supposed to go to trial..This was never considered a crime but an "Act of War" so a Trial was not even thought about..

Agreed, the fact they were tortured and possibly brain damaged is disgusting.


These five detainees are the so-called worst of the worst. Much of the evidence against them is tainted by torture. However, there remains banking, travel, and electronic records that can implicate them. If these men can be tried in civilian courts then it is hard to see why all of the detainees cannot be tried in civilian courts. I hope the Obama administration gets credit for this from the same people who have been justly critical of them on these issues so far.

8. I just imagine that once this gets going they will be found no guilty and largely for reason you
state. We are a government controlled by laws again.
