Poll question: Supporting Obama and the corporate Dems?
Will you support Obama and the corporate Dems in 2010/2012 if for example, healthcare reform turns out to be a sham and the Afghanistan/Iraq wars continue?

6. Progressives and Moderates need a voice...
The DLC'rs (Corporate Dems) have moved too far right. There is no one to represent the families, seniors and working people.

12. Loaded question?
The poll seems to sort of like one of those when did you quit beating your wife things. Also lumping Healthcare, Afghanistan and Corporate Dems all into one seems a bit much. Can't even begin to answer that one. Maybe separating out the individual subjects would be a better indicator.

20. I will say this again
It is my belief that there are enough people at the bottom, of both parties, that can work together to get the things done that you would like to get done. It may be a struggle at first, but what do you have to lose??

You talk of bi-partisanship at the top, why not start bi-partisanship at the bottom?? Maybe it will never work but the people at the top are not going to give up their power without a tremendous fight.

8. No ...
I supported Obama because he seemed to offer an alternative to what the Republican crapsters had been selling. What I got was nothing.

I will never support or vote for a Republican, but I sure would be active in the Democratic primaries against the Democrats who are basically selling us.

:eyes:

I'll just ignore the last years that the repukes ran this country into the ground. :sarcasm:

We've got a fucking mess to clean up after those asswhipes and I'm not going to just quit because it's not going EXACTLY the way I think it should.

10. No
I refused to support Hillary last year because I considered her and Bill to be sellouts to the corporate interests in the 90's after the various Republican pro big business laws passed that Bill actively supported, like NAFTA, telecom deregulation, the repeal of the depression era safeguards to limit excessive speculation by the financial industry etc..

I draw the line when Democrats act like Republicans by bending over for the big business interests that have ruined this country since Reagan.

15. If they do not have the balls to do their jobs then they do not deserve them
I would rather get screwed by someone that hates me than someone that says they love me. In politics anyway.

16. I wish there was a maybe option, as I can't see too well with my crystal ball right now. But if I
am disappointed with the way things are going, yet still think Obama would be reelected, then yeah I might cast a protest vote in favor of the Green or Socialist or whoever seems more in line with my view of the direction I'd like to see the country move in. I'd pick so-so over so-bad, but I still want a chance to vote for so-much-better. :(
