WWJGD?
What Would John Galt Do?

I would love to see this worn by Christian Teabaggers. The irony would be priceless.

2. I don't know. I never got through that part of the book...
I read all of Ayn Rand's books when I was in high school, but I never did finish "Atlas Shrugged" because of that interminable speech... x(

9. I'm afraid that I don't have the mental fortitude that I had at 16...
And I couldn't get through it then... x(

13. Exactly, it is a lifechanger because it is so fucking depressing that you wish you had never been
born and I'm still waiting for something positive for encouragement. So far ---nothing.

3. I had a dream this summer...
Most of my dreams don't involve people that I know. I had become conscious of my dreaming and asked the person who he was? He responded John Galt. I still haven't read Atlas Shrugged.

Yes, I do know I am a weirdo.

4. You're not alone.
I've thumbed through Atlas Shrugged, and that was enough to convince me that it's still garbage.

5. If there's ever a public protest here
I think that will be my sign when I tart myself up in my mother's mink coat and a bunch of junk jewelry to protest as a Billionaire for Wealthcare.

Teabaggers here are a timid bunch, though, and generally meet in bars, greasy spoon restaurants and homes.

7. Funny, I thought you meant Jerry Garcia.
I like that one better.

10. Me too, actually.
The Grateful Dead never did much for me but I always liked Jerry Garcia and his bluegrass stuff.
