I wish we had more like him in our government.

13. Mind telling us what the Peace Act is?
Hint: Peace is an abbreviation.

Other progressive caucus members voted No: Neil Abercrombie, John Conyers, Marcy Kaptur, Jim McDermott, Pete Stark, Maxine Waters and Eric Massa. In fact, 18 total Democrats voted against it.

3. The government certainly would be more Elfin!
Edited on Thu Nov-12-09 11:43 AM by HamdenRice
Not sure it would be more effective.

Elfin does not equal Effective!

6. Low blow
And you know it.

So what agenda is it of yours, as an educated person, that makes you stoop so low?

8. Atom bombs and napalm are effective too.
All is not fair in war, nor in politics (and not always in love for that matter). There are such things as crimes, moral if not legal.

Why any one faults someone who has been so consistently stand-up for protecting the constitution and the rule of law is a mystery to me. They all took an oath and only the few that live by it get trashed? Something is getting stupider and meaner in America.

10. The Kuch didn't vote for health care, SCHIP, student loans, mortgage relief, climate change, etc.,
Edited on Thu Nov-12-09 12:32 PM by HamdenRice
He has become a running joke -- more Dr. No than the repugs. Just because he'll tell people stuff they want to hear doesn't mean that effectively in terms of voting he's a right wing tool at this point.
