Colo State Senator Compares Obama to 9/11 Terrorists
State Sen. David Schultheis said he didn't intend for a Twitter post accusing President Barack Obama of "flying the U.S. plane right into the ground" and ending with "let's roll" as a threat or a reference to United Flight 93, which crashed during the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Schultheis' full tweet Tuesday was: "Don't for a second think Obama wants what is best for U.S. He is flying the U.S. plane right into the ground at full speed. Let's roll."

The Senator defends his remarks:

Besides the terrorist comparison, does Schultheis REALLY think Obama purposely wants to wreck the country? I have my problems with Obama as everyone knows, but I don't believe he's "flying us into the ground" on purpose. Only the whackiest teabagger would believe that.

2. What in the world
would have happened if someone had said this about bush when he started the war in Iraq. And if they had put a stop to the political harrassment and actions against President Clinton when the republicans started that, if they had shown them up for what they were, a bunch of hate filled, violent, sour grapes butts, they might not have felt so engergized today.

It seems to me that the republicans are showing their true colors. Hate, ignorant, prone to violence and as full of jealousy as they can be. Who needs em...the sooner the party disappears the better.

3. Senator ScheiBtuhl turns out to be a bona-fide hardcore fundie wingnut:

David Schultheis
Republican
House District 22
Colorado Springs

Consider this:
> Sen. David Schultheis, R-Colorado Springs, voted against a bill requiring pregnant women to be tested for HIV because, he said, it would wrongly protect women and their unborn children from the consequences of "sexual promiscuity."

4. What a prince!
They have got a bunch of winners out there in Colorado, don't they? Another right winger who just loves punishing women for men's lack of self control and for acting like human beings. Why protect innocent children when you can punish women?
