1. it was pretty good

but i've been kind of dissapointed thus far this season. it just hasn't been that funny. it seems like they are trying too hard or something.

i look back at some of the episodes in the recent past (make love not warcraft, the morning after, etc.) and this season is just looking a little weak!

2. I hadn't seen one in weeks -- if not months. I usually wait for word of mouth,

or my son's insistence, before "tuning" in...

But the DU scuttlebutt made me check this one out. I thought they nailed Beck pretty well.

It reminded me of a great episode they did some years back when Cartman becomes a fundie preacher, in order to rake in the bucks...

that they nailed beck pretty well. it just wasn't that funny.

fwiw, if you haven't seen the mormon episode or the scientology episode, those are must sees. the best thing about the mormon episode is the last few seconds, but you gotta watch the whole thing in order for it to be funny. the scientology episode just ANNHILATES tom cruise, the whole scientology gig, etc. it's very funny.

the morning after episode is actually "about last night". i misremembered the name :)

it's episode 1212 (12th season)

it's about the aftermath of the obama election. it's pretty fricking funny

1203 , Major Boobage is also very good imo. it's a salute to the old animated "heavy metal" movie. if you ever saw heavy metal, you should watch it. imnsho
