How many rightwingers have "friends and family in Canada"?
I know many who claim to have nameless "friends and family" in Canada who are suffering under the oppressive regime of Canadian Health Care. The stories get more and more ridiculous. God bless 'em - especially the person who had all of their limbs amputated when they fractured their tibia and the poor lady waiting on chemotherapy for the last 2 years. Add to that, the tragic story the dingbat receptionist told me about her "friend's mom" who can't get necessary surgery because the mysterous government cartel (which exists only in the minds of freepers) has not yet met to discuss her case.

What are the mysterous "Canadian Health Care Tragedies" that you have heard from the Morans out there?

1. As a Canadian,
I find these stories hilarious.

63 years I've lived here, and never once have I seen or heard of anything like that.

11. i haven't heard any tragedies, but i live in pac nw and one of my best friend's is a candian doctor
who is down here in WA on a visa.

she dislikes the canadian medical system, etc. that's WHY she's here. she's not really a repub or a dem (she's canadian), but if i had to pigeonhole her, i'd say she's a libertarian, small "l".

her parents live on a farm in rural western canada, and from my understanding, western canada, and especially when you get outside the cities is more conservative.
