Colorado State Sen: Obama 'Is Flying U.S. Plane Right Into The Ground At Full Speed'

Colorado State Sen. Dave Schultheis (R-Colorado Springs) posted a tweet yesterday that called for a derailing of President Obama's agenda in a rather bold way. The blog Colorado Pols caught the statement from Schultheis's account.

"Don't for a second, think Obama wants what is best for U.S. He is flying the U.S. Plane right into the ground at full speed. Let's Roll," the tweet reads.

"Let's roll" were the final words of Todd Beamer, a passenger aboard United Airlines Flight 93, one of the four flights hijacked on September 11 and the only one to crash before reaching its intended target. The flight was diverted to Washington, D.C. after it was hijacked, but crashed in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania after passengers tried to thwart the hijackers.

and I will guarantee that there has never been such outright lies, obstruction hate and violence from the republicans as we have had since Obama took office.

Republicans were vicious and hate filled with President Clinton and very obstructive but never ever like this. It is horrible. I can't believe these people are from America and especially members of congress.

I think the problem is twofold. First the democrats in congress are as spineless as a jellyfish. They hem and haw and give in to any damn thing republicans want. And the second is the media. The give preference to any little bit of lies, distortions and covering of the republican a**holes they can. You see the crap the republicans are spewing 20 times as much as you get any coverage of a democrat. And there is nothing you can do about it because the republicans own the TV stations and the press.

I am ashamed of the republicans of today and I am not even a member of their party. Do you think that any honest republican would put up with Rush, Fox, Beck, Bachmann and Palin. Heck no. They would have been sent to the trash pile and never heard of again.

I don't really know..how can you get the democrats to grow a spine. The way things are going now, the republicans have the upper hand even tho they are a minority and they will sweep the elections next year. And Obama's wishy washy performance has a lot to do with it. He needs to kick a** and do it quick.

You're right about one thing, though. It's worse this time. But that's for one reason only: the color of Obama's skin. NOTHING Obama could do would ever change that.
