Now that we see what Huff Post has Become...we need to support those who were with us through all the DARK YEARS. Huff Post and others get Big Funding...other sites just survive on nothing.

7. I used to go there first thing every day

then things changed, and i felt "taken advantage of." It's a long boring story, but I just got fed up with the attitude of the site owners. Apparently a lot of others did too, as last time I checked, they seemed on their last legs.

8. Could you say what turned you off to them? Lately Bill Moyers, Sirota and other "good folks" have

been writing articles that they allow to be posted "in full" over there.

I donated more that 5Bucks to them...and are you telling me there's something wrong with the sites owner.

Please PM me...or post it here...what you have that would keep folks from donating to them..

10. Really, it was kind of petty stuff

It started a bit when the site got new software a few years ago, and posting procedures & protocols changed. A lot of people were unhappy, and the attitude was basically, "fuck you, if you don't like it."

I was having an automatic monthly contribution made, and when I tried to stop it, it took forever for him to respond to me and finally do something about it. I dunno, maybe I just got burned out. I don't mean to criticize to the extent that it would keep anyone from joining up and donating. It's true that, for a long while anyway, I could go there and read all the latest news and really super postings. Then it all seemed to change, and a lot of the really good posters seemed to fall by the wayside.

I probably should give them another chance. I'm sure they deserve that. I'll check them out again.

on edit: I was going to K&R for old time's sake, but it's past the 24 hours permissible to do that.
